Actor(s) ages
Actor(s) height

Specific audition appointment times for each person who requests a slot will be issued before auditions.

Auditions will consist of monologues which are available on the Monologue page or upon request. Actors are encouraged to write their own 1-minute monologue from the play.

An all-hands meeting is scheduled on January 29 at 10am. Rehearsals are slated to begin that day. Scripts will be distributed.

To prepare for auditions, actors should read the original play, available online here:
https://www.aasd.wednet.edu/cms/lib/WA01001124/Centricity/Domain/74/Our_Town_full_text.pdf

The PBS filmed Broadway version with Paul Newman as the Stage Manager is also very good.

Considerations

*Casting will be based on audition performance and characterization;
*Cast size is limited; it may be that not all actors who audition can be cast or will be cast as extras;
*Some roles may be cross-gender cast;
*Actors will be required to read play background information and build characterizations once they are cast

Additional positions available by permission of the director (for which some previous or related experience is preferred):

*Assistant stage manager
*Technical and backstage, i.e. running crew, light and sound boards, etc.
